Well, a little fatherhood milestone this week...
My four year old Micah said, "Dad, I want to be a basketball coach when I grow up." I guess he thinks running around in the sun yelling at teenagers looks pretty appealing. Seriously though...another reminder that everything I do is being watched. When Micah told me that, his little buddy was there too, and he said he wanted to be a "weight-wifter" when he grows up. His dad's hobby is body-building and so he's taking after the old man too.
On the Asher front, we finally got around to having his party this week (can you guess the theme from the picture?). His new development for the week is asking the question, "Why?" after everything we tell him. He doesn't really expect an answer or have any clue what he's saying...but he hears his brother doing it constantly so--hey, why not?
