It turns out we have more than one writer in the family. Micah had an assignment this week to write a "friendly letter" to someone using the correct format. He chose his mother, and this is what it said.
"Sept. 8, 2011
Dear Mom,
I can't belef you are 35. I love you. XOXOXOXO. You are almost 40. You look old.
Love, Micah"
His writing is excellent for 2nd grade. I'm not sure he understands the nuances of the word "friendly" though.
